About PEEKrings track sprockets
Typically track sprockets are either a screw-on mechanism or fit a carrier for easy changing. The current carrier systems on the market are not composite friendly, and also cause small movements in the sprocket, causing it to wear and sag over time.
We have designed our own completely unique track sprocket carrier system to complement our range of carbon fibre/PEEK and aluminium track sprockets. The system is designed to minimise the movement of the sprocket on the carrier, whilst maximising the amount of material that is in contact with it. We can supply our sprockets and carriers either unbonded, so that the sprocket is interchangeable, or bonded, so that the whole system is a single piece. Our bonded sprockets do not have a separate locking ring.
